I've not heard anyone here talk about faking higher ctr for serps, although I'm sure it would have been before.

It seems like one of the most direct black hat SEO methods that would deliver serious traffic.. am I missing something about how difficult this is to execute or is this just not very commonly focused on?

I think the reason is that it;s very hard to mimic.

Also, it's not as effective as some people would like to believe.

may be you could try with microworkers. you could ask them with commenting and engaging in your sites.

Look at serpclix prices... 2500 usd for 15.000 clicks.. Monthly! Isn't better invest same amount of money in serious seo work that will last much longer?

I've always seen keywords with higher ctrs ranking between in GSC and I afaik it's one of the major indicators that big g considers. A part of rank brain I would imagine?

Yeah I think in a similar way to pbns you would have to be super cautious about how you did it. If I was big g I would sign up to any services providing automated serp interactions like this one, continually purchase this service, and then record all of the IPs and internally search for other sites getting serp interactions from those IPs and then penalise them.

Instead, it seems like pbn-esque approach of building your own private network for use on your own sites would make more sense.

may be you could try with microworkers. you could ask them with commenting and engaging in your sites.

That's the other option, but again I wonder if that could be easily footprinted by big g? Continually monitor major microworker sites, find all postings for serp interactions, signup, penalise the site that is asking for the interactions.

The way I see it serp manipulation done right could have more of an impact on rankings than many other common black hat methods, but then again I'm a flat out novice compared to the upper echelons of this community so you guys would surely know a lot more than me about it.

definitely this method is hard one . But less competition mean more chance who are doing it right. Better go with quality backlinks.

People have tested it over the years. It works, but you need real clicks. If you're on page 8 and you start getting dozens of clicks it's very easy for Google to know you're faking them. I think it depends on the competition as well, probably has better results for long tail keywords.

it works but there are tools for it not talked about on bhw :D:p

because there not many willing to throw thousands at useless IP address to show as a fake click .

ppl like to just buy good 2k/m links instead of throwing money away to get good ctr.

Ctr based of real clicks and real people but these type of services also use fake clicks and shit spammy IP address, because there no guarantee there not fake included as there always will be 1 rotten apple to kill the whole method.

no point waiting to be killed might aswell use paid links

You are referring to genuine CTR right?

Well, that's the problem.

Google knows exactly what to expect at a certain position for a certain query.

And we don't know those numbers.

Even if sent clicks are made by real people the sheer fact that they are off regular numbers flags them.

it works but there are tools for it not talked about on bhw :D

Feel free to share ;)

not around much now cheek misc .

there 1 working app that tries to do the same but ctr wont work get caught all fake .

plus them, apps use public proxies don't work these days.

if they do work very low results many do try .

here a app sold on here

serpclix works but the cost is difficult to justify. works best if you rank page one already. basically if you know in advance that the difference between your current #6 position and being #1 would bring you us$xxxx, then go ahead with it...
