Hey guys,

If you had some money to invest and some time on your hands how would you go about it?

You have no real experience in the space, but you have time to learn useful skills.
You want to build a portfolio mainly based on affiliate/ad sites and/or digital products.
You want a diverse portfolio, some sites for the long passive income, some sites for flipping.

Where would you start ?

Thanks!

I would spam amazon kdp with coloring books. Hundreds to maybe 1k.

That requires more than money.

I will set up a company for sure. Better to have a system working for you.

I am setting up a company for this venture. But i feel like i need to have some base level understanding of SEO principles and market analysis to find the right employees.
Unfortunately i feel like this market is filled with scammers and incompetence and i don't want to get of on the wrong foot. Could you guys share some rules of thumb when looking at potential deals and employees? or maybe a good place to start scratching the surface of SEO with relevance in 2020?
Thanks!

I would make a SAaS business. Obviously, I will think about a new concept.

I by the way believe in what Mr. Jobs believed in. If there's no market for your concept, create it. There's no point hustling with the existing competition.

Yes, wise words. However, start ups are such a grind. At the moment acquiring an existent business for scaling and flipping/keeping seems more appealing to me at this stage.

It's a grind for the most start ups, because they don't have something new to offer to the market. For example, web development and AI oriented ones. Most of these start-ups don't even bother hiring the right guy for the job. All they need is result lol. No wonder they fail.

I have worked in a few, which didn't bother to go with the competition. All of them are doing good now.

I would enjoy my time and then starting with money investment. But should have lots and lots of money for this.. Lol.. :D

Some good info on here I’m kind of in the same spot have time and money but want to make the most of it!
