(Suggestion) BHW advertising affiliate program

Would be great if trusted/trained members could be given the opportunity to find advertisers for this brilliant forum.

I'm professional and know how to politely approach potential clients. Perhaps there could be an opportunity to create an official BHW advertising program.

Excuse my stupidity perhaps I missed your point. I can see BHW uses the (advertise here) banners a lot so it would appear there isn't a waiting list.

I think this is a good idea.

The Forum could have a incentive program, perhaps paying in cryptocurrency against certain actions, new signups, banner adv etc

Providing it's implemented professionally and only certain members are given the opportunity, perhaps some type of training program could be introduced because the last thing the forum needs is members spamming prospects of course.

I personally know of many non-spammy methods to approach potential prospects. I'd take it on as a professional job, not something to make a quick buck, as I'm sure many others would do too.

This is a great idea. As pointed out, we do have a waiting list for the ads, banners and sticky threads for most of the year but there's always the occasional gaps, particularly at traditionally quiet times of the year. We're working flat out on the platform upgrade at the moment, so it's not something we'll be able to work on until we've got the current development phase out of the way.

In the meantime, I didn't want to derail the conversation except to say it's a good idea and certainly something we can look at implementing in the future. I'm interested to see how you guys visualize this working in real life, so please feel free to add any suggestions, tweaks, refinements etc - it's all appreciated

If something like this is implemented, there should also be incentive for bringing paid members (jr vip) to this forum.
