I'm having a similar problem, most of mine are expired with maybe 10% fresh and none index, I loaded them with content and aged all at least 30 days, but still no index, any ideas?

Don't waste your time on Tumblr. If they index it doesn't take long for them to fall out of index. I have had very few Tumblr links remain indexed for long.

You can use bulkaddurl.com index service or use google search console (use different email with email money site) to index tumblr.
