repeating a keyword on the title... relevant?

I want to make a title and the best I can think of, requires that I repeat a certain keyword twice (first, so it shows up on the tittle before it becomes cut as it doesn't fit, then again at the end of the title, to make a longer keyword of 2 keywords together.

Will this impact negatively or it does not matter?

no it does not matter what so ever, if having the keyword twice makes the most sense then do it. you will be just fine. I have done this before and never had an issue.

What I want to achieve here is:

Have "Drake plays Fortnite" showing, because that is what will attract people, gets to the point of the video, raises CTR

However, I also need to position "Fortnite Montage" to cater this certain subniche

So I have to repeat the word

Because google sees the keywords in the title anyway, u dont need to do that. Put highlights instead of the second fortnite word and i guarantee you will do x2 better

But having "Fortnite Montage" next to each other as well as keywords, doesnt that rank stronger for "Fortnite Montage" than not having the two words together?

no it does not matter what so ever, if having the keyword twice makes the most sense then do it. you will be just fine. I have done this before and never had an issue.

This is the reality:
Every keyword you use is meta-description and will be used to help engine find the keyword content.
You don't have to repeat nothing twice, you are already a part and verified before result shows.
So, back to the reality, you need to attract users you already mentioned, so care about that, and care not to repeat yourself at all or max once if that makes sense for the user experience

Focus on other things, and use your brain to build on 'this logic' and note that the next step after determining the keyword is a bunch of user experience stats, such are watch time, CTR,.....

about your question, it's standard usage to use titles as "clickbank university - how to make money with clickbank"
try to put your most impotent/main keyword at the start of the title, first on tags and at the beginning of your description (even as the video MP4 file name)
as far as i tested (and i did many tests) there are no "seo penalties" for 'keyword stuffing" on YouTube, you can use the same term many times, but in order to benefit from that, use it in a smart way, use different long tail keywords that contains your main keyword.

but don't take my words above as is, take it to a test and see what works better for you.

in that case i will test it on the next 2 future uploads, like this, first upload will be test A, i will use one set of keywords with no repeats at all
later (that can be done even if time has past) you upload a new video for test B with a set of keywords (similar kw if possible or with same search volume) with the repeats
