All of them. They're meant for link diversity.
Yes all links went to homepage.
Unique content for sure.

No it doesn't. But it doesn't take your time either to change the header image, title and subtitle so Google won't see it as duplicate content.

When linking, can you use exact match keywords to your articles on every one of these or do you need to change it up?

I wouldn't recommend to use exact match anchors on these properties. Switch to naked URL or brand domain instead.

That's unlikely to happen.

Not automatically. You need to notify google to crawl your backlinks and index them by using reddit or indexing services.

Where do you get all that stuff? are you the real crawl spider (bot)?

Naked URL please. These links are meant for diversity. Don't expect much on ranking.

There is no need to describe the methods to index the links. Just go to bulkaddurl.com and submit your links there. That's it.
