Ok ok you are right there! But i am sure i saw Medium.com links as do-follow when i am using tools like ahrefs? Maybe it depends on if you have a a premium account.

No they updated their website this previous month making all links no follow.

I just checked hubpages the articles does not have the high authority ranking like the main domain. With Medium the articles carry the high authority ranking that is why they tend to rank so quickly.

Quora has been deleting a of answers they believe are spam, even when you put a youtube video in the article. That happened to me the other day with an embedded video about a product review. Further more i don't think Quora Traffic is anything to be alarmed about, i have posts with 1000's of views but no conversions on the website. This makes me think most of those views are bots.

With medium you can publish an article and it literally gets ranked the next day. I haven't had any comparable success with blogspot for example or any other platform that you can use to post articles on

You can also google the keyword you wish to rank for and see the platforms that are ranking on the first page. However Medium is the only free article platform that i am seeing ranking and which seems to get a lot of google love.
