PC keeps getting disconnected from wifi and unable to reconnect until i restart

My PC keeps getting disconnected from wifi and unable to reconnect until i restart my pc.

Its getting disconnected almost every 1 hour.

All my drivers are up to date. I am having Driver Easy Pro, so i guess that's not the issue.

Can someone guide me on the issue?
What could be the cause for this?

Its really annoying me...

If you're using 2.4GHz, try using 5GHz (or vice versa).
Or try changing the channel of your modem.

I am using malwarebytes pro

How long ago did you install windows? Maybe it is time for a re-install, as Windows tends to go mad after some time no matter how well yoy tend after it.

Okay jokes apart it’s a software glitch contact your laptop company and they should be able to fix. It

Mir could be that you’re driver program has installed an incorrect driver.

anyway, best thing is to try and pinpoint the issue;

try first connecting to a different network - even if that means tethering to your phone. That will rule out a network issue.

next, if you have a WiFi adaptor, try that; that would rule out a software, driver or virus issue.

report back with the results.

If you are using a WiFi mouse, there is a chance it is interfering with your network connection. I had a similar issue, it was also happening in approx. one hour intervals. The only thing that helped me was swapping the mouse for another one.

In my case, the problematic mouse was a really cheap $5 mouse, and the one I upgraded to is a Logitech vertical mouse, which btw is really good for your wrist health.

When the connection is lost, right-click the internet icon in the lower right. Click on the problem goes. This much.

I am using a licensed version with auto update. I do check for updates on regular basis, that wont be the issue i guess.

No i am not using any wifi mouse

If my guess is correct its related to the Kasper antivirus installation. My PC got shutdown due to some power issues while installation this all started happening after that.

I do have a restore point back to 19 days i guess. I am just restoring it now, will see if that's the cause.

I could have checked with a different adopter i forgot that option.

l will say you should download ccleaner online it is free and use it to clean your system after that shut down your system and start it again but dont use restart button hope it work

Ah thats likely the cause then - I have seen similar issues with kaspersky and other antivirus programs in the past - especially kaspersky as I think it installs a virtual network adaptor as well, to monitor network traffic. Hopefully the system restore will do the trick, if not uninstall kaspersky manually and failing that, they've probably got a removal tool.

Fixed, Everything is fine now.

Things to Remember:

• Always Keep a Recent Restore Point. for all the Critical Problems that's the Best Solution
• Do not use or try avoid anti virus which actually fucks up with your Network Adopt ores ( Kasper, F secure.. etc )
• always keep copy/ export your bookmarks
• Having a Cloud Backup for all your data files gives a great peace of mind.
• Never USE junky Programme's on your main machine

Glad you got it sorted and great advice - I would add / amend a few points to the above -

• Use chrome and sign in with a Google account then ALL of your browsing information including bookmarks, passwords etc are saved in the cloud and immune from local computer failure.
• Keep all of your data on a cloud storage platform such as Dropbox that way all of your data is synced in real time to a cloud storage platform and thus also (relatively) immune from local computer failure.
• Don't keep ANYTHING stored on the local computer if you can help it. If you do have to then make sure you have cloud backup AND local backup of that data.
• Even back up your cloud based data periodically just to be super safe.
• Keep up to date documentation of your computer setup so that you can easily restore in the event of disaster (If you follow the above tips then with Windows 10 easy restore feature you can fully rebuild in a couple of hours).

All the way with VirtualBox for anything you dont know what it is. Also it is good to have GlassWire.
