Case studies forum?

Hey,

Was just about to post a short case study in order to help people with some successful theory i just proved that has to do with a website i built and how i made money with it...

Then i noticed there isnt a case studies forum... i think that kind of forum would be EXTREMELY helpful to users here where people can post case studies on methods that worked or did not work, the benefits are pretty obvious....

idk if theres a similar forum on here but i searched and couldnt find it

You can post it in the "making money" section, the lounge, or one of the specialized sections I think. In my opinion, a case-study section would either be spammed by marketplace sellers, or make little sense because there is already the journey section and making money.

Maybe something like "Success stories"/"Case Studies" forum can be made... but the count would be very low, so i don't think that's possible.

Still like to see that case study though

Success stories are very different from case studies.

Im talking about people sharing their experiences on methods they have tried and the result regardless of wether its a success or a failure.

EDIT: same goes for "making money"... a case study is some sort of a 'research' or 'trial' you've done and by sharing the results you're giving people extremely helpful information

that they can either copy if you got good results or avoid and know not to spend money / time on the proccess you've followed because it haven't gotten the desired results.

mmm maybe because there isn't one people are not sharing that info, thought about that?
Anyway i didnt want it to be a discussion more of a decision from @BassTrackerBoats or the other mods [i don't know who else is responsible for these decision]

BlackHatWorld is a busy, thriving place, and we want to keep that going. We know the IM world moves quickly, and that you guys want the latest ideas and info. Sometimes that means there are new sub-forums BHW could benefit from. We have a process for new sub-forums, and there's been quite a bit of interest lately, so here it is, laid out nicely for you:

All new sections on BHW require at least 50 recent, engaged threads on the topic, written by 25 different users.

These must have been posted in the last 3 months and must have more than 10 reasonable responses to an opening post of more than 250 words.

If you can gather these 50+ threads together and share them with mods or admin, we can look into creating the new sub-forum and if you're interested and knowledgeable in the sector we'd open up discussions with you about moderating it.

Kind of a dumb process imo, @Zwielicht ... if u think about it , it basically prevents users from thinking about new topics to post about.

Obviously there isnt a "case studies" forum right now so people don't post case studies as threads... they only share success stories which is totally different and IMO way less valuable, because like you probably know in Internet marketing (and maybe in life, in general) you learn way more from what didn't work vs. what worked and from the process that got you to the success.

Basically what im saying is by only having a "success stories" section, you're encouraging people to only share success and not failures or even case studies that arent failure but werent a massive success YET and could turn into one with a twist of someone else.

But i got it, you can close the thread now

There's the journeys forum, but success and failures are mixed there.
