Expired Domains - Best Practice?

Evening all,

I'm looking to get hold of an expired domain for my new project. At the least im hoping it will help me evade the sandbox, and at the most, well, maybe it will carry some PR.

Anyway, I was wondering what services people use to find expired domains at reasonable prices, and if there are any potential pitfalls I may want to try and avoid? ... for example, I read a post here that mentioned google using an old robots.txt file from the previous domain owner..... i presume creating your own would fix this... but its stuff like that im looking for really.

It's ok... I've found a domain im happy with ... couple of years old with a few backlinks in place allready... so fingers crossed

If you are serious about expired domains, use http://www.PremiumDrops.com. There is also a free service that is pretty good at http://www.FreshDrop.net - it aggregates the most popular drop services.
