Anyone really make money on eBay or Amazon?

Look for products on Amazon with no listing (anymore) that used to sell, you will be the only one to offer it. Often they receive a lot of organic trafic.

Source: someone did this with my Amazon account back in the days (it was a JV) and made more than $1000 sales per day

I don't believed there are products that can sell BUT no listing on Amazon, any example ?

@augustwu @wkcalvin

Unfortunately I don't have the account anymore but all I know is that the person who was operating it was listing items where he was the only seller. And sales came very quickly for them, and when I googled these products, the Amazon link was on top of results.

Actually this person was scraping (I don't know how) a list of products (generic products, for example double sided tape) on top of Google/Amazon Search with no seller and then created a listing (then you have to source a supplier for dropshipping).

An example, I sold my Epson 1500W (printer) in just one day because this printer was discontinued by Epson and no more listing on Amazon was available. Even today if I type "Epson 1500W" on Google (.fr), the Amazon link is in 4th result (https://www.amazon.fr/Epson-Stylus-Photo-1500-Imprimante/dp/B007FNIQOC), and if you go to this link you will see there is no seller. When I listed mine I was the only one and I know people are still looking for this printer, this is why I sold it within one day.

Only thing is to find a tool/method that will provide you with a list of products with no seller and nice Google ranking, and then find a supplier for these.

malkram,

Mentioned listings are tones on Amazon, almost 90% are big brands and remains are rare products that with little market demand.

For Epson example, unless you already stocks or find some used, otherwise it is almost impossible sourcing from formal distributors.

I have an example too:

Some PVC figures already launched for years, I can source such figures from formal distributors, but such figures are old bulk stocks/not popular products, of course, not demands, no sells, no orders.

Another example is SONY XPERIA XZ1, you can try to find out some facts.

Yes, that was just an example. My former partner listed only generic products.

Can you please give us an example ? A link on ebay or.?
you can make money via offerering gpl digital goods via download or disc

but in the advert you say, the cash is for finding such item and providing it via link or disc all apps are gpl.

look at others soon get the drift , and no what selling .

just make the advert pop ,with the item/product features , always use emoji ppl love them on adverts .

good luck.

this ....
general public licence .
or this ....
general public use .

I generate about $1200 to $1800 selling Services and Digital products on ebay.
Without invest on buy or resell nothing

Yes, I have a good niche that is making me good money per month, and it can even make more if I had good accounts that aren't limited on the software category.

I run a side-business refurbishing PCs and laptops and selling those on eBay, apart from my day job. Currently around $2k per month in profits. I have also dabbled in Amazon FBA with white label products produced in China and more or less broke even on that venture, but it was a good learning experience.

I would definitely recommend both eBay and Amazon if you have a somewhat unique product, or a product you can use your labor on for a unique value proposition (like repairing or refurbishing). If you are trying to compete with the same product as a hundred other sellers, its a race to the bottom.

I make 100% before fees or more on everything I sent, I sell digital products, and burn accoutns fast but i can byu more.
made 50-100 a day with minimal work.

Haven't used for a little bit though.

The margin may appear less on these sites but you can sell to a lot of people which can result in good profit. You can see on these sites that there are already so many sellers with different listings.

No, I order stuff to mine using Prime and then ship. I only have like 240 listings on average at a time. The only thing stopping me making more is a lack of space
do u have to pay for the stock items you order or are they delivered to you for free, then you pay once youve sold a item?

i tend to agree with all those who say your best bet is to find a niche, find physical items that are either listed too cheap or are more valuable to someone else and then sell for a fair price. Price shipping into the cost and provide "Free" shipping

I know someone doing eight figures on Amazon (not me, lol)...but it is by no means easy. He spends half his time traveling to China to work with factories and has all the inside connections neither of us have. He also has been in retail for decades and knows the industry inside out. More dedication and sacrifice than 99% of people here.

I have experience with eBay, after final fee and PayPal fee, only few bucks made.

I want to try Amazon FBA, but after a lot of research and calculation. Very very low profit.

Both site with a problem, price competition.

Anyone has make money (after paid your labor ) still making 15% profit or above? not include cheating or fake products.

Thanks
i m selling products on amazon from past 6 years and i earned a lot from their its a great website
