The future belongs to TikTok - gradually this platform will become more serious, the average age of users will increase, advertisers will come. And Instagram and FB will burst soon, like a soap bubble.

The government could destroy Marks Empire with one single policy, really the future is unpredictable.

Facebook will continue to thrive as long as Zuckerberg is CEO, he's like the modern Steve Jobs.

I almost gave up on Facebook until they released Facebook Marketplace, also their business pages are very well designed.

TikTok is hot right now, but I see it dying like snapchat and vine.

Everything has a shelf life, SM included.

In IM the shelf life is shorter than in other industries but there is surely a shelf life - no preservatives can extend it for too long.

How long have you been in the IM game for ?

I started not knowing it was IM in 2004/2005 by marketing on classified sites and started building sites and SEO process in 2007 or 2008 once I learned some stuff.

I'm still learning and will retire realizing that there is no way I could know everything and thus my shelf life will be on display.

The old platforms are killing themselves, they are banning more users than they bring in daily. If you're arent left leaning you cant speak your mind. New social media sites with better features and less restrain on speech will get bigger and bigger and eventually people will wonder around for a new spot. I think social media in general is dying down though.
