Youtube doesn't love 100% watch time. Youtube is smarter to detect that 1000 viewer watching the video with 100% watch time. That will hurt your ranking.

more than 100% retention rate is made with views at slower speed, if you watch a 2 minute video at 0,5 Speed it counts as 4 minutes watchtime.
