Ok I've gathered upwards or ~50k emails of potential customers for my business. Was wondering if I used say SendBlaster or even GMass, would it be possible to send maybe ~500 - 2000 emails/day max (as thats Gmail's limit) on my home IP address without getting blacklisted? I obviously would clean the list, not send 100 mails/second, spin the emails, etc. Or would it be better to use a proxy?

Only asking because I'm just about to start, and I know getting an SMTP or even using a service like MailChimp or something similar would be better once I actually have grown my biz and gotten more customers, but in the meantime would this work?

bump... no one using email marketing here??

Bumppp.. anyone have any info regarding this?

How are the gathering the leads?

Are these opt-in or are you scraping emails?

In boxing depends on a lot of factors like warming up your IP's if your SMTP service shared IP's are blacklisted then there is nothing you can do about that... If you wanna use gmass, buy aged gmail accounts and rotate them.. best is to build your own SMTP servers and rotate your IP's.. Remember one thing.. To send 1000 emails per hour you will need 1 server 1gig Ram 1IP address.. Multiple the servers, Ram and IP's if you wanna do more then that.. Cheers

P.s Here is an example for the difference of cold emailing and spamming ok?
If I email BHW support to ask them a question.. That is cold emailing because they have not opt-in to my email list! However if I email support and add my link to my offer that is called spamming!

The leads are scraped from (targeted) prospective clients social media, such as them tweeting their email or just on their profile for business inquiries. Not randomly scraped but very laser targeted to only those who would be interested in my products.

Not sure what brocklesnar90 is saying but ok.

And Thanks Pesa Man. Looking to start off small as dont really have a budget for my own SMTP server yet. Building up to that is a possiblity but i'm okay with starting small. I know GSuite users can send ~2000 emails per day, which will be about ~14000 emails a week which is more than enough for me to test and see how it goes, as I only have about ~50k emails so far anyway.

When you say "gathered" if you mean scraped as opposed to they opted in you should first clean the list, else you will have inboxing problems.

It will be difficult building your own server, worst if you are not a techie guy. I tried building one myself and it was a waste of my time. After spending time and money setting up one, most of the emails went to spam because it was a brand new ip i was using. You have to get a smpt server that is trusted like Amazon AWS which is one of the cheapest right now. The monthly charges per month is quite affordable.

Can't stress this enough: buy a domain to get a DKIM (Google it), and then use something like Sendy or Maingun. This setup is dirt cheap and your deliverability will be about 95%.

Did you read the first post? I said I gathered them (not necessarily 'scraping' or finding emails from anywhere on the web) from people tweeting their emails requesting a product that I make, as well as found them on social media profiles for inquiries. Also said I obviously will clean the list...

But thanks everyone else. Will def buy a domain simply because people trust things more with a website. Will look up DKIM, thanks.

I did read your first post and it did not say that. It said this:

So it was rather vague with a basic grammatical mistake - "or" instead of "of", therefore I did not know if English was your first language, so wanted to clarify the details as you also mentioned using Mailchimp.

But in any event it makes no difference. If they did not specifically opt-in to your list, you have scraped them and my question was how did you get them? I asked because it effects how you email. You have answered that now.

Now you have answered if I was you I would first clean the list, then set up and warm up a g-suite account, if you pay in advance you can send your 2000 per day. If you pay monthly for the first 2-3 months I think it is limited to 500 per day.

Sorry meant did you read the thread as I said that in my next few posts in the thread. Forgot some people just read the first post and immediately respond lmao but ok

You want to blast emails via a business domain or any account?

Business domain use g-suite post warm up.

If you got the time and patience, create accounts from different providers and start sending 50 from each if you dont want a business id. x)

You don't need neither g suite not multiple email accs. You don't even need an email account yourself to blast those messages. What you need is email infrastructure. And Mailgun has it. You can send like 20k emails a month with them for free. Seriously, why would you need to use anything else?

If you noticed the time i responded it was the time you were wrting your followup post. So the post you refer to wasn't there for me to read.

Anyway as i said the easiest thing for you to do is clean the list and just use a gsuite to mail. You dont need anything else.

Hi @GringoMonkey . Do you know any email solution for shopify that works with amazon SES or any other cheaper alternative. For bulk emails

Do you wish to email existing customers of your shopify store with new offers or to mass email people to get new customers to come to your shopify store?

I will be running a lead magnet viral offer on shopify so looking for a solution that emails new signed up users, new orders, abandon cart etc. Even if it does not have deep automated system..at least basic emails like "Hello, welcome to X company etc" . Most of the systems on the block are capped at X no. of subscribers.
