How to drive traffic a streaming website?

Hello,

I have created a warez streaming website in may which focus on movies, with a really good web developper I still work with. Original and really good design, quality and fresh content(I focus on quality, only uploading HD releases). I have around ~420 backlinks(~60% Do follow), but there is not a lot of traffic yet.
Which ways do you advice to gain traffic/promore the website?

Which subreddit would you recommend? I can't find one who may allow streaming URLs :s

Agree but in which subreddit would it be tolerated? Because piracy is generally banned on reddit, I can't find place where it can be OK :s

You really to need to step up your game marketing wise if you want to enter into those type of markets do this go to google and search for this "your main niche or sub niche: site:reddit.com/r/

It will give you a list of the related sub reddits where you can start, but you really seem to be one of those people who are just going to comment something like: FREE MOVIES HERE, RAMBO 2019 FREE HERE..... so you need to become better at marketing and be careful.

Just share my experience, I also had movie warez in 2010. I bought backlink to my website, and most of them are do follow. But sadly i didn't get significant traffic, bit hopeless at the time. Until i keep to upload new video everymonth and also post in social media, and after few months, my website getting more traffic.

IMHO, key factor are
1. in your video content, you will get lot of traffic for new movie. For example, while other website don't have new movie and then you upload new movie to your website (although with bad quality) but you will get many traffic. I know you prefer to upload HD quality movie, but you can update it soon.
2. Your website is community driven, once you have loyal member they will back to your website again so share to social media. But don't make click bait, you will never have loyal user because of this
3. Most of user will back to your website to look new video/movie, especially for new box offices movie

Nice site, but like most said. You will probably need heavy focus on SEO as the competiton is very big in this field....whenever a site goes down that i use to stream from...i simply type in "watch movies online free" and a bunch pop up.
