How to hide referrer for FB with redirect

I want to install FB pixel on a thank you page on my domain but I want to hide it from FB how ppl get to this page. How to hide / clean / change the referrer?

I thouught of drive traffic from source to the Thank you page via bitly bit it does pass the referer.

What is a safe way to do it?

I believe blanking the referrer is the best option. I haven't used it in years, so I don't know if referrers would leak or not.

There's quite a few threads on how to do it here (some outdated). Just research to find the best option for you.

BTW, you'll find a lot of threads on faking referrer, but I believe those are more likely to leak, and it's only really used for hiding traffic from affiliate networks.

Read about meta-refresh - it'll remove the referrer.

fake-referrer.cf may help you further, the referrer can also be hidden.
