I am having all sorts of issues with Amazon Sellers using my content. I have an 8 year old site in a niche that I was a pioneer in, i.e. I took a fledgling niche and developed a strong market for the products and like so many other similar situations it exploded into every man and his dog getting in on the act selling cheap imitations.

I can live with that BUT the stolen content is showing up in Rich Snippets and 'People Also Ask' sections which are a magnet for new searchers which I used to dominate so it is adversely affecting my business -

We are all guilty of copying what the leaders in SERP's do and may 'borrow' some content and spin it but this is Blatant Word for Word Exact copy!!

QUESTION: How do I best handle these copyright breaches?

I am concerned that emailing the store owner (lessee) may be ignored by them - how do I get Amazon to sit up and take notice and then action? if they don't then how do I bring it to Google's attention?

If the stolen content is on amazon product page file the copyright complaint directly with amazon not the seller.

don't forget to keep us update to let us know what happens. Good luck !

@shags38

Amazon can support your concern when it comes to Copyright Infringement. All you need is a form. You'll need the following information as you submit a report to them:
1. Include a description where the location of the material for claiming is.
2. Include an explanation as well of the copyrighted work, which has been infringed.
3. Provide your telephone number, e-mail address, and physical address.
4. Create a statement that the material was not authorized by the owner, law, or the agent.
5. Also, create a report that your information is accurate.
6. You'll need a physical or electronic signature of the authorized person to act.
