Question about sharing a link in a facebook group

Anyone know what's the meaning of those brackets from the link?
I mention that link from attached pic was shared by someone in a group. Never saw that before...

Trello uses it. Basically is something line [anchor text](domain.com)

This is an easy way of having links that you don't want to show as naked links in your text.
