De-Optimize Google My Business Listing

I have a client that promised to pay for 8 listings after i get them in the snack pack. For some reason i trusted this guy, normally I do not, but i had a good vibe (so i thought)......

though the process i was able to collect some of the money but surely not all of it as was promised.

I still have access to the listings, and i do realize that I can just "CLOSE BUSINESS" though I believe in karma, and the fact that he did pay for some of the work, i do not feel this will justify. That said, my goal is to just get him out of the snack pack that I worked so hard on, and then let him either call me back and pay me or hire someone else.

Any suggestions on the best way to go about this without killing his listings?

um...just do the reverse of whatever you did to rank him? I don't know what it takes to rank a GMB but for example if you built backlinks, remove those backlinks?

Are you sure you want to go through the effort of de optimising his listings?

If you want any sort of revenge just delete one or two of the listings, or however much he paid you for.

yes reverse I am aware of. But way too much work. I was hoping there is a better easier way someone would know.

I presume it’s more effort than deleting some of the listings, though I’m not speaking from experience, so I do not know.

If you still have access to those, just try to sell the listings to another person that have same business in that category
you just need to change the NAP

once you do that all the juice is gone from the citations already created.
Trying to make this a soft subtle move so he feels the pain of no rank !
