OK, guys, I need your late 2019 opinions of on-page vs off-page.
I spent the last five years, mostly off-page and always ranked on the first page for the majority of my keywords. Mine you, I only do local businesses and medium to low competitiveness.
Lately, my typically PBN orders on BHW haven't been working out as well as they once were in the past.
In early 2019, I started playing around a lot with Surfer SEO, Page Optimizer Pro, and some Cora reports. I see tons of videos online of people bragging and boasting about these tools, but I didn't see much difference. I mean, some SERP, but not a hella lot. I went back to diversity links, PBN, guest posting, and citations, and boom, some more SERP again.
Surfer SEO says H1-H3 tags won't make that much of a difference, and in my tests, it doesn't mean that much. But POP will sware by these tags, stating that every keyword has a different tolerance with the ratio of H tags. I cannot see how Google will change the understanding, depending on the keyword lol.
Bing has publically admitted it only wants one H1 tag per page. I rank better on BING for almost all my money sites...
Thoughts?
