Made $30 on two articles today

Hey redtide whats the best news articles to submit I tryed sports, and they dont give an up front payment what news does ?

By the way when you use Content Hurricane it dont work good for AC, just rewrite the articles yourself get a blogger blog just to test articles for copyscape I just had to change a couple of words on some articles, maybe a little more other times its easer then you would thank !

Also can you give me a sample of an News Article, and tell me what is need to get upfront pay ?

There's really no "best news article" or niche for submitting to the news category. It all depends on how it's wriitten. I'm not going to say too much because of prying eyes, but the main thing is you want to write it from a "first person perspective" whether you witnessed the news event or not.

Got ya, I think I know no why Content Hurricane wasnt working for me, its because it puts the article in Arial Font and you cant get an up front payment with a font, maybe if I take out the Arial and I will see what happens, I need an article rewriter that passes copyscape, and that doesnt use fonts, there probably isnt any !

I'm interested in how AC feels about the submissions. Post up with the results after review if you would. I had done a search online for some reviews of the program, but the few that I found seemed to be written by affiliates and you could tell they were pretty biased.

Let me know how it goes!

Hey there Red and others :] How are things rolling for ya?

At last I have started out. posted 5 articles, two were accepted for 2$ one declined (they said I should format it better or something about line breaks...) I did it and resubmitted, but then it got denied :D lame..
Now I`m waiting for the other two articles to see what will happen...

I`m trying to rewrite 5 articles each day now. I`m using PLR articles, but it can be a pain in the a$$ with some of them...

Anyway hope to get to the point where I will be able to buy your book Red... at last... :D

I have found almost all PLR's to general.

Red how many tweets do you post per article per twitter account?

I just submitted an article to AC and it got denied because it has already been posted on the internet on Fox News, I used DupeFree Pro and it said it was only 18% identical and that was the quotes, any suggestions?

Also I do have one question, on AC where do I go to look for the "Callls for Content?"

It should not be more than 15% identical... In DupeFree...
And as for the CC`s it`s in your account`s front page, but as I understand it you will get good Calls for content only if you have high clout level... :prof01:

Ok thanks for the tip, but I find it pretty time consuming to work on the same article for over an hour an one article trying to make it not the same as the original, any tips for that? Should I just get 3 or 4 articles and put bits and pieces from each article into one that I am planning on submitting or what?

@ jurums - I'm doing well, thanks! How are you? Glad to see you're diving in and getting started. Keep in mind that PLR articles tend to be too broad in scope unless you add a "twist" to them before rewriting. I describe how I do this in the book which then helps to make them more specific and in line with what AC is wanting.

@ Nightshade - I don't have a set amount, I just try not to retweet the same article twice in the same day and have it end up looking spammy.

@ LilStewy- Yeah, anything over 15% duplicate in Dupefree will typically have it failing Copyscape.

As far as C4C's, remember that when I first started this thread AC referred to the higher paying "Partner Calls" as C4C's. They've since changed the name and they are two totally seperate kind of assignments. C4C's are the lower paying assignments that I personally don't bother claiming. It's the Partner Calls that pay between $10-$20 each (they are specified by a special icon at the bottom of the Assignment Desk). I've already covered earlier in the thread what it takes to be offered Partner Calls.

If you aren't outsourcing, it will obviously take practice to get your rewriting times down if you're new to it. Either take a single article and rewrite it two lines at a time in your own words, or you can compile a few articles into one seed article. It just comes down to which one is faster/easier for you personally.

You can also use Dragon Naturally Speaking to speed up the process a bit when doing the rewriting yourself.

Thanks Red for the advice. I do use DNS and it does actually help alot. Thanks for everything and hopefully I will get things rolling with this

You're welcome LilStewy..good luck!

@ Shawndellah - I hear ya, that's one thing that draws so many writers to AC I think (whether they want to admit it or not). Yes, there's good money to be made in freelancing, but it can be all or nothing at times. With AC, once you nail down just what they're wanting and are able to keep your rejections to a minimum, it's fairly predictable income.

About 50% of the people I coach with are coming from freelancing and are looking for something a bit more stable. When mass submitting, outsourcing and using black/greyhat methods, there's a certain level of predictablity of earnings that can be tough to come by in freelancing. Of course, it depends a lot on the connections the person has in the freelancing world as well.

Connections or no connections as a pure freelancer your income is highly dependent on how much you can work. If you are down for a day or two, bam there goes your income for those two days. That's why I think it's really important to get multiple streams of revenue and set it up in such a way that at least the basic minimum you need to survive is covered.

You can only work so much until you burn out if you don't take a break.

Very true, that's another reason I like the outsourcing aspect. On certain days when I'm ill or have errands to run etc, it's nice to be able to pull away and still have that income to rely on. It allows for a lot more flexibility once I had things put in place.

Hey guys. I don't mean to clog up the thread but I just wanted to praise Redtide's book. I know if you read this thing from start to finish there's lots of praise already given but this book has been a tremendous help to me as I've just begun my AC career. The advice on hiring quality re-writers is phenomenal and helped me secure two of them on GAF. Buy the book! You'll make back your investment in probably 2 days :)

Thanks verve22 for the kind words about the book. It's awesome to hear it's been such a help! Best of luck with it mate!

@ verve22 & Everyone - Just a heads up to those that may not have known...

The minimum word count for articles at AC has dropped to 350 words from the previous 400 words.

Again, AC is interested in fairly short but "tightly focused" articles as far as topic and subject matter. Submitting a 600-800 word article will not make for a higher upfront offer in the least.

If you didn't already know about the new minimum word count, enjoy the ability to secure rewriters easier at $1 per, scrape your actual content easier by not having to add more words to a short article, and if rewriting the articles yourself, busting out the rewriting of your content faster and easier! :D

Cheers

Sorry for the DP (and no I don't mean double penetration or Digital Point ;))

Thanks for the news on article word count red :)
This is great news. I don`t know why, but I thought that it should be 500 words and it will sure be faster for me to rewrite 350-400 word article :)

Damn I will probably need to re-read all this thread, because I`ve already forgot some things and the notebook I took notes in have disappeared :D Probably threw it out when I was doing cleaning in my room :/
