How do you get followers from hashtags?

So basically I found many good hashtags in my niche. I get good engagement, 100-150 likes but always 0 followers, are there some tricks to gain followers from random engagement?

Are you including any CTAs in your post captions?

ie. "Follow for more great daily content" / "See my profile for more awesome content!" / "Tag a friend who would enjoy this..."

Obviously tweak them to your content etc but something like this in the caption can definitely help.

Business and Creator have this. Choose "Creator" if you can. Most people agree that "Business" lowers the reach (never experienced it, but still).

No, just go to settings-account-switch to professional account and you'll be able to choose

Maybe they are hitting LIKE as they see your posts on popular hashtags in the hope of engaging you to check out their content, but your content quality is crappy and they have no interest in subscribing and seeing any more of it.
