Instagram Page with 445k shut down without any notice!

Hi guys!

I'm posting this on my friend's behalf, as we really need your help and input.

My friend Instagram page was closed without any notice a week ago. The page had 450k followers and was mostly meme related pics and videos. The content was almost always original (by taking pics/videos that are viral, and adapting them to their audience and language).

The page was closed without any notice, e-mail or anything. It was just gone the next day. Any ideas what to do, or whom to contact? We sent an appeal via the HelpCenter but we never got any response for 10 days already.

Do you think getting a lawyer would help? If so, is it possible to hire a lawyer that's not from our country (so we increase the pool of good lawyers and not limit the choice)? He's very sure they were always following the rules, but if they broke any, they want to at least know what it was.

Any ideas here?

send me login to user and login to email ill try to get it back to u or at least will know what it was banned
 
Was there really no reason for this? Your friend never purchased likes/followers, never used bots such as gmt, jarvee etc, didn't promote any CPA stuff? Btw, Instagram is not obliged to notify you in any way before banning your account.
 
I lost couple of 100k account because of copyright stuff, bet they always notify me. Idk with current policy, seems weird

Never. They were doing promotions via Instagram stories, tagging the companies they were promoting and also with swipe-ups to their links, but they were checked always before. Usually clothes and YT videos.
 
U have to send a picture to IG with a recovery code (which you should have received via email.) Your real name and username.
One of my accounts also got banned/deleted and I got it back without any question beign asked. I think they have some problems in their system that just bans people for no reason.
Try It. Maybe it works...

Thank you for the tip buddy. My friend already did that a week ago, but no response yet. Any ideas how long it took to get back to you?
 
Re you sure the instagram account wasn't using bots for the likes etc? I got shadow banned for 2 months now since i was using a bot but i wasn't going all crazy with the likes and follows. It seems Instagram have gone through a high level crackdown on instagram accounts using bots.

Honestly, he never did anything to gain followers illegally, everything was organic.

I had to send it two times. I think the first time something went wrong. Just send it again.

How long after the second time it took them to responded?
 
One of my accounts also got disabled like yours not so long ago... I tried using the tips from this video and it helped me to get my account back

Were the swipe-up links pointing to a landing page of any sort?
 
Just a month ago my 700K page was disabled. But I had got email from stating it's disabled for copyright infringement. I had got some copyright infringement in past but not at the time it got disabled. There was link provided in the email to appeal.

Then I appealed in good way first day but I got automated reply. I did appeal continuously for 5 days but I got same automated text each time. Then I gave hope and stopped doing that.

After 15 days when I check my Instagram was reactivated 3 days ago but I haven't seen that because I had stopped checking emails.
