Study:
- Programming: Python / node.js / Javascript
- aws / ias / pas / sas
- Crypto.

I've also been advised to:
buy traffic instead of spend months creating SEO.

Remember that we're helping business owners get what they want - Money / Customers / Freedom

The business is helping people.

A couple of great business ideas that came up where:
Reselling social media panels
Create a bot. eg. Reddit upvoter

Reading material:
Copywriting
Paid Ad Copy
Psychology of spending
Direct response copy
Business systems / models
How to generate paid traffic
Consider AI & Robots for the future.

After all this info and knowledge I've gained in one day I had an idea about reselling digital marketing/programming services.
In fact, most of my ideas seem to revolve around reselling services online.
I understand it would be important to study programming and app building, but this could take me years!! Is it an effective use of time?

-----

Can you add anything to my list?
Is reselling services / programming / panels / bots a viable and professional option that can work?
What are your thoughts?

Focus on the long term and on something YOU and only YOU are capable do it. Reselling things is hit and run method, if the main seller runs out tomorrow, what you`ll do? Programming is not an easy thing, but if I would be capable to learn to code I would learn anything related to AI and forget the rest.

Paid Ads = You can lose a lot if you don`t know what you`re doing
SEO = Same as above
Bots = Meh, harder and harder to bot something these days ( I`m telling you because I know a senior developer in this field )

So, if you are at the beginning of your journey, reselling stuff is ok, but not for the long term.

Just my opinion, I can be wrong.

Really nice reply, thanks for that :)
AI is totally the future.. If only I was a programmer!!!
Reselling can be a start. I read your bigger post that recommended reselling as the #1 option!
Would you recommend going all out branded, or just create a couple of simple professional looking pages to pickup gigs from fiverr and sell to customers on freelancer etc?

Yes, I used to do all types of stuff at my early age of IM, to be honest. What works on person X maybe will go wrong on person Y. That thread was more or less because of @BassTrackerBoats to be honest, but that`s another story.

But if someone told me what I`ve told you in the first reply 12-15 years ago my life was better today. Not sure what`s your age and your expectations but start taking action.

P.S.: Usually I ignore these types of threads but you seem to be more than an average Joe as mindset.
Kudos to you and I wish you all the best!

If you are reselling someone else's product or services, this method can't get you far. Learning programming is very important, so if you make some sort of software that will help others or a SaaS that will help something do anything in marketing then this would be great and you will make money from it.

There is so much great knowledge you can start to gain from scouring the boards and interacting with other successful internet marketers here. One thing for sure is that it continues to be harder and harder so what worked last year often wont work in the future. Reddit upvoter bot for example would need to have such a high level of AI interacting on Reddit and upvoting and downvoting posts where as 10 years ago you could have gamed it a lot easier..

As an experienced SEO I think you're time is better spent learning media buying and SEM over SEO but both change drastically and you're always at the mercy of whoever's sandbox you're playing in.

Yes, you're right. Studying programming will take you years before you start seeing a penny. But once you have the knowledge it's totally worth it.

You seem to be underestimating the power of seo. Dont. Paid ads first but also make room for seo.

Here there is a lot of information, i'm enjoying all the journeys there is so much to learn with them

I'd also like to add an argument for any business you want to get into: have fun at what you're doing. Of course doing something for money always takes some fun out of it after a while, when something becomes your job, especially for people who made their actual hobby into a business. But doing something you enjoy is a very valuable thing.

This is possibly the best thing I've read here. You're basically saying I'm late to the game.. 12-15 years too late!!?
It's so important to take action, you're right.. Which is why I'm here. To help me make the right moves and prove I'm not an Average Joe!

How can I save this post so I see it on my desktop every day?

All taken onboard! I've never heard of media buying & SEM.. Thanks for the tip!

you are new member like me?
i should recommend me upgrade account then earn some money in Hire Freelancer section first

Reselling social media services won't go too far. Learning skills like programming could be a real gem.

Do not limit yourself to social media services only, it will not last forever. In fact, be ready to learn and implement new methods frequently.

Someone said this back in 2014:

If you want to build sites you should know: html, css, php, js, jquery.

If you want to learn to build apps you should know ruby, c# maybe and of course ios and or android as you'll be developing the apps mostly for those 2 os.

If you wanna go advanced you should learn python, c++, java and so on. The more you specialize in a certain language and you get certified, the more you earn. But, choose a language that has a future.

Is it relevant?
I found this website codeacademy.com
They seem to have everything.. can you recommend a solid place to start?
Codeacademy has recommended I go back and learn html and css. I feel like I can remember a fair amount of this from when I was younger - my question is, is it necessary? Or could I just jump straight into learning python?

Decrease the amount of things in your plate

You mean, focus on programming?

Nope, you can focus on monetizing your skills or focus on internet marketing however do not try to learn and test multiple things at once in a short period.

Almost all of the methods that are being talked here for making money do help you make money, however, you should focus and give them a REAL try.

So, decrease the noise and increase the focus on impactful works.
