I want to know why is there no option to send message to someone privately.

I bought an ebook from a seller here but I can't message him for the download link as the old one has expired and therfore had to put my private info publicly on the forum

You can send PMs once you reach 15 posts.

As for buying the product, you could have posted on the sales thread asking him/her to PM you.
