Hello, everybody. I'm new in this branch. I'm developing an app at the moment. I have already had a page made for my app. Now an SEO expert offers me the following service ->he will charge €100 per month for 150+ backlinks on good website. Now I wanted your advice whether this service is too expensive or appropriate, moreover I wanted to know whether this service also brings me something?

as I said I am totally new in this sector. I thank you about every advice and tip!!!

"SEO expert offers me"

That makes me cringe, does he call himself the seo expert or was he referred to you by a client?

To put into perspective, my links start at $90 per link on a single link.
For all you know, this 'SEO expert' Is buying 150 crap links for $10 and pulling your pants down.

Do due diligence before you put your website at risk.

Thank you all for your prompt reply. Whether he creates it according to quality or quantiät, I can't know either. But the price seems a little too high to me?. He wrote me that in addition: "And i can give you some topics for content writing. You can write content upto 1000 words and add the that content in website blog section. Then we will create backlinks from our blogs too and get the visitors to our blog. We will integrate the google play store app link in the blog post so that people can download the app too."

I found him on a freelancer site, they call himself seo expert :)...90$ for a link sounds quite expensive. then what he offers can not be good qualitatively^^

$100 for 150 backlinks - Cost is bit high compare to cheap freelancers.
So the backlinks may be good. Get from him the entire 150 backlinks - Demo links - Check their DA. if all websites crosses 40+ then it is good to go.

Check all the links are from diversified campaigns.
Does it includes content marketing?

If yes, you will get a little pump in the keyword rankings depends on your keyword competition.

Say 150+ Back links for $100 - Tolerable!
But Don't say, 150 Good Back links for $100 - Intolerable!

Building Single back link on Good relevant sites itself costs $100 +

If you’re serious about white hat link building and if you’re on a budget (which it seems you are) then paid guest posts would be the cheapest option. The are sites that accept free guest posts as well in exchange for a good article.

Since you have an app, and if it’s a paid app, you could offer it in exchange for a free guest post or a link on a blog.

From my little experience, this seems way too good to be true. What are the sites? I've been doing this process outreaching to sites myself, and each is charging $20 to $100 per link. So how can he be doing similar for 150+ backlinks?

Here`s my ten cents worth: there is a ton of advice on this site - plenty of really good backlinks given away for free. Search and do your own.

Thanks for posting. I'm new to the site, but I've not seen many given away for free. Perhaps I'm searching in the wrong places. where are they?

This is a good idea, you can find out the quality of the backlinks by doing this

What difference does this plus sign make? : D

So in the Blackheat SEO area I only find backlinks that have to be paid for. No problem, I like to pay, but whether these backlinks are also good is the next question. I once had someone who spammed a lot of porn backlinks.

in my opinion it all depends on the quality of the backlinks.

good backlincks aren't usually cheap, i'm guessing that your guy is putting quantity first, but I'm only guessing.
Your guess is the holy truth :)

Quality of links are what counts. You won't need a massive number of links to see noticeable results in ranking. Save your site from being spammed before it's too late.

Check the forum, start with building your own links (easy found here, I shared 10x links a week ago, check my history).

And also, how important is the links?
Is the target to rank your brand, example "xxxapp"? If the name is unique, you might not even need any links to claim top1.

But then again, if you try to rank "best app for xxx", go ahead and take the linkbuilding route.

Also, I would start a blog on your site where you write relevant info/articles for the kw:s you are aiming.
