I stopped doing Pinterest some time ago, but still have a few profiles up that barely get traffic. The reason your traffic dropped is Pinterest will not let non members click on your pin and go to your site. When a user clicks on your pin, they are prompted to signup to be redirected to your site.
This will result in a 85% traffic loss. Not to mention Pinterest is starting to lose popularity it seems. There are way better ways to invest your time.
