Does anybody use Adwords for promoting?

Is it effective to use adwords to promote a new channel? I tried to get traffic from reddit and facebook, but the results were bad. Then I created adwords campaign for each video. Now I get stable traffic. But is it effective? Will I start getting organic traffic in the future because of this?

Yes, there are 2 types: discovery and in-strem. Discovery means click on demand, so it should be OK for 4000 hours. But I was asking: does Adwords help to get organic traffic from recommended videos?

Google seems to be updating on November 8th, and the view generated by adwords will not be listed as 4000 hours.

I want to know and I never tested it unfortunately
