How Many PBN's For Ranking A 25 Difficulty Keyword?

I'd like to get some of your guys' opinions on how many decent PBN's you need linking to your money site, in order to rank an Ahrefs 25 difficulty keyword.

Assuming all the PBN sites are high quality, aged, and have TF/DA of 10 at least, and are niche relevant.

Fair enough, but I don't need to rank #1. Just in the top 3, with maybe competitors with an Ahrefs rank of 1-3 million.

I would like to second what DubaiClub said. In fact, you would need to use a tool like ahrefs, moz, majestic to check the backlinks of your competitor. Then, by looking into those types of backlinks you can see if you can overtake your competitor or if it is impossible.

They're just using the expired domains technique, basically. Outranking me with it.

Focused89, this means their technique is actually working. For your information, by the past, using Majestic I looked at my competitor backlinks. They looked lame to me but they ooutranked me. I thought that the problem cam from my content. Then, i thought it had something to do with my website (speed, headers, code). At the end, I understood I wasted my time on my website. It was only a question of backlinks. My competitors had more backlinks than me. So, I went back to majestic seo. I discovered that my competitors kept on building backlinks every month. Some of their site look spammy. Some look like a link scheme. In fact, This is just a race for backlinks and nothing else. The race is always on.

I know it is super frustating. I noticed the same thing myself. But this is the truth behind google. Google is way more dumb than what we think.

If they are using expired domains, then it is likely they are using hidden PBN's too.

It is a question of patience and trying. The most important would be to check your backlinks in the google search console. If they don't appear it means that Google ignores those links. If they appear it means they are taken into account by Google. I have learnt to stop being "emotional" about my backlinks because I saw that there were really low quality links that were taken into account by Google. Everything Google tells us about link quality is crap. It is about the guy who will be patient enough and focus enough, to add as many backlinks as it can. It is all about quantity.

This is impossible to tell unfortunately because there are many other factors besides links.

You might need 1 link from a beast with 1000 referring domains or 10x 100 RD ones.

Tier 2 links is really what matters here.

And it's a tricky business with million variable.

I never use difficulty ratings to asses competition but let's say 25 is a low difficulty.

From the T-RANKS data low difficulty keywords require anywhere from 3-10 links.

That is taking into account that on-page is solid, site is healthy and there are another links with branded and URL anchors. These give room to hit it hard with PBN links.

The harder you can hit it, the less you'll need.
