How good/bad is a Zaask backlink?

Maybe some of you don't know Zaask (it's a website to find/deliver services, search it) when you register you can introduce your link that will backlink for your website but they ask you to validate it.

To validate you will need to introduce their code/logo, does this harm your website in order just to get that backlink? And is it a good backlink?

According to google, this is not true. They don't use factors such as dwelling time/time on page, etc. as ranking metrics.
