New accounts getting no engagement

So about a month ago I made an account, all was well. 2 days in 300 followers and a few semi viral videos. I delete a few videos which didnt take off and go to upload again the next day. Nothing.... 3-4 days later I post daily and it seems my engagement is all from my 300 followers. Could this be a shadowban? Anyway to check?

On my 2nd phone I make another account, upload a video - this video (unique again, short, funny) gets 0 views etc.

Few of my friends have continued to blow up and I started the same time as them...

Are both my accounts shadowbanned? What should I do. I have another device laying around... should I make an account with a vpn and new content etc?

I"m an avid tiktok user. 6 accounts now. I post videos of girls. And I'll post sometimes 4-5 videos in a row that will get 0 views. I look at it from another account and the videos don't even show! Tiktok shadowbans individual posts VERY OFTEN. They seem to have way more banned hashtags than even instagram that will make your post not show, AND they definitely have some algorthim that views the video and shadow bans it if it sees any sort of cleavage or too much skin in general (I also think it looks for weapons and violence).

However, unlike instagram, when you get an individual post shadowbanned, your other posts can still get 10s of thousands of views. So i just keep trying to repost the same video by shortening it, or changing hashtags, and I can often get it to show. And when I do get a video through where she's in a bikini etc it can get a LOT of views.

As far as making a new account, it's definitely worth a try. It's a new platform so we have a lot of experimenting to do before we figure it out! I've got more organic reach in a few months on tiktok than I ever have on twitter/youtube/facebook/instagram/reddit combined!!!!!

Yeah I tried to repost 3x videos in the "meme niche". Changed the hashtags to smaller ones in hope to get some more exposure. Didnt work at all. I have yet to get 1 view.

Anyone who could spoonfeed me a method to get started? ^^

Yeah, I had some initial success with posting videos I had filmed originally. Nothing crazy but cute videos of a pet. Was going well, few days later my engagement just goes to 0. Ive tried to make new accounts, new device, IP etc but no success... :s

I know if you get even 1 view, the video isn't being banned. But yeah if the algorithm found something questionable in the video, it won't show at all & you just have to try a different video. (note the algorithm is extremely inaccurate, e.g. it will think a peach colored sweater is nudity)

Now as far as getting into the for you etc and getting 1000s of views. The only trick I've found is reposting videos that show lots of skin, and adjusting the length of the video until it sneaks through the algorithm.

My first account got a video into the "for you" with over 10k views by the 4th try and it was all uphill from there. My next 3 accounts still haven't got a single hit yet after over 50 posts of similar videos. So it's a bit of lottery.

Tried to drive traffic through other social medias to a video. Conversions not great but engagement was up and watch time was 200% of video length (guess someone kept it looping) in my analytics - 0 views from for you page, all from following / personal profile. So this video did not even get show on the foryou page?

from my experience and what I have seen, Tiktok is first broadcasting your video to 10% of your followers. Depending on the results, the algorithm broadcast in "for you" page or not.

do you think me posting the same video like 10 times got me shadowbanned? If i were to shorten or lengthen slightly this will fly by right?

Yeah tik tok is pretty random, I often posted the same video over and over again, because I thought it was really funny. After getting 0 views several times, some videos blew up and got 60k plus and they are still growing.

A good tip that helped me get trough the 0 views is, just don’t delete the video, set the privacy to privat. Also don’t post too much.

Yes probably you are in shadow ban, the algoritm of this app is still random
