What do you guys think about this change for the future of IG automation? They've already tested it in a few countries, and influencers experienced massive drop in engagement.

If they hide like counts, then people will post lower quality crap content. It'll turn into Facebook where people post every random thing, taking the dog for a walk, stuck in traffic, etc.

They are trying to say that people lose their self esteem if they don't get a lot of likes on their post. But yet with this change, the person who put up the post can still see how many likes.....?

It's just another classic Facebook cover up. Whatever the reason they give, it's not the real reason. They have a history of doing that

They also need to remove followers system or make some change to it. To allow users to make followers count private, or add “friends” system like on Facebook.

Like now this is also bullshit, it’s ruining people’s mentality. Whole Instagram thing is one cancer of society.

Not only Instagram, whole social media is kinda cancer. And we are not able to live without it.
