Haha, I can understand. I'm an Indian, not a native American, so the thing is pretty similar in my country too. But hey, shopify is remote work. We can get clients from all over the world all by staying in our room, in our own country. With providing quality and getting referrals from past clients or by just hunting for people who want a site built, I get clients often and charge them with global market rates, as $200 worth of work in india is worth $2000 in first tier countries (i.e. We get higher payment outside than in our own country)

Back in years(like 5 of them) there was some giveaway on game keys selling site called greenmangaming.com i guess. They gave away steam codes for Mafia II and Civilization 5. All had to do was to add email and register on the site(1 minute maximum).
So i spammed their giveaway using 15minute mail providers and had alooot of free keys of Mafia II and Civ5.
Sold them in Kinguin.net(game keys resell site) for pretty cheap price and made abit over 1000 bucks. Sad back then i had no idea about automatisation and proxies, i was abit worried that the block my keys and spammed these keys only around 2 hours.(from one IP address) But everything was fine and one key even worked this year still.
But afterall, i was sad abit i didnt spam more, these keys went like hot sausages with my - 25% cheaper price than the next seller. Sold them all in few days as CIV5 was popular game back then.
And after that i havent had too many time in IM and never achived anoter 1k through internet... but things will change as im working now on my first long term project (Dropshipping) where i am able to invest more time and cash and i hope im gonna make another grands from that. I think about makin journey topic about this also to get more motivation + good hints from BHW users.

Back when I was 13, so in 2011. I made it on YouTube. I had a pretty successful channel, it got closed due to copyright issues though. Ended up owning way more channels over the years, but my other businesses have had bigger results.
I think the drop shipping its really good but you need to have the right product and money for advertising if you don't have really engagement instagram.
Congrats! but I don't know if this is possible at this time too because instagram change algorithm
with problem with copyright they get me too much times...
