On 15th October I have bookmarked my few money website page links to tumbler and on very next day I have observed Google penalized those page by sending them from first page to 4 the page results..

So yesterday night , I removed all those pages from tumbler and my page ranking is almost back- started to get the traffic from it

Also,

I have been seeing my search console data now Google can give you traffic results of last day(yesterday)

Have you guys also observed similar trends?

Nowadays Google have really big problems with indexing and crawling. They maintain, that they fixed those problems, but it's not true.

yes, I observe the samething on my side, on how fast google switches your ranking based on your action; however, i think this is by design. they want you to take corrective action if you are doing black hat; since they can flag you... i hardly take away any backlink if it results in negative serp; i let it age and majority of times, ranking has gone back to what it was before or better ...

interested to see if you can test another page of yours with your tumblr accounts and just let it age. see what results you get. perhaps you do this on a page that you dont care about its ranking much and get weather the storm for few weeks.

Sure I will try with few other pages.

The last page that I have added link to tumbler was giving me 25-28 users per/day after submitting to tumbler I just received 4-5 users from same page.

Now today its almost back to natural position.

If Google wants to they'll destroy ahrefs and semrush. Just gotta add some more data in search console.

They did some back-end update. The SERP update will come after this. For sure these are interlinked somehow, the crawling patterns and so on.

Way, way beyond. I'd ask "what [real] competitors?" If google adds more functionality to search console and make it fast, updating hourly for example, it'll kill ahrefs.

If I were ahrefs I'd offer more accessible prices for smaller packages or they'll go belly up soon.

They have had many many issues since about a year ago. There are terrible quality search results in some areas. Google is running on the inertia they built in the past 20 years, which is longer than Altavista or Infoseek did. But I've been seeing more and more average Joes mentioning how hard it's becoming to find anything outside wikipedia or quora on Google.

Indexing is not issue for me. Ranking is. If you throw links you will index but not neccessarily rank.


Also OP penalized links dont really decrease ur website position. Stop removing ur links especially after 1day since creation. Thats sone shady mumbo jumbo

It is normal to get dance when adding new links or doing major change on the site.

In the past one of my client's site disapear from google after I optimized the speed making the pages static html, removing tons of useless code. After I resubmit these pages in search console they instantly appear back on same and even better possitions.

The dance after adding backlinks on not yet established (less than 1-2 years old) website is always happen. Google just need time to recalculate the possition. My point is this is nothing relevant to indexing speed.

Definitely. Google rocking it and Ahref's is going to fold at this rate.

Maybe they can downscale those fat monthly costs for something more accessible!
