This is very interesting and looks promising, for the past 3 months I've been consistently using hashtags and have seen real good growth of my IG followers from about 1500+ to over 22k+ in less than 4 months.
Just using purely hashtags. I wanted to write something on how I did it but haven't had time due to much engagements and want my followers to grow to about 50k or so..

I usually just select hashtags and I mostly select hashtags with 100s of thousands of posts or at least 50k+ posts... I used to believe hahtags with much posts indicate more people following such hashtags.. to an extent it's been working for me.

But I think, carefully adding your own twist will definitely skyrocket things for me, maybe by so doing all of my pins would be going viral.

Once I start applying your method, I think I might write a case study which will definitely combine your method with mine.

I don’t know any off the top of my head, I have a thread from a while back though when I used a tool that scammed me (they’re not on BHW I don’t think so there’s no point in a shitlist).

Nice question.
I don't specifically plan the number of posts I share daily. When I wake up between the hours of 5 and 6 AM, I share a post, between 3 to 4 hours later I post another. I continue like that till 9 PM. Of course sometimes when am too busy, it might be 5 hours interval, note this is more like a personal IG(it's for one of my sites) so I do this from my phone.

Why I stop at 9 PM because most people are already asleep or about to; people from my target countries.

Yeah, I am doing this consistently. Driving like 5k reach to an acccount with 1k followers. Around 40% ER on the account.

Growth is slow though this way, around 20 follower if it's a really good post, otherwise like 2-5.

Hi its a nice method, but its more difficult than this, smaller hashtags have less competition, so top posts are completely dominated buy huge posts with like 1000+ likes. Id never rank there. I get around 100 likes in travel niche wich is very saturated (i dont want to change niche), what is your advice on this?

I used to use Display Purposes but the big issue with it is that it doesn't tell you how many posts a hashtag has which is super important to me at least when researching them. Right now my favorite hashtag research site is by instavast just google "instavast instagram hashtag generator"

For what its worth, Jarvee has a Hashtag tool built in. Might be useful.

Not much experience with hashtags here. Only use them on certain high profile accounts. Waste of time to focus on them for small accounts.

I think it’s still possible, but Instagram won’t be able to make it fully impossible, because at that point they would be jeopardising instagrams current users experiences.

Their goal in all of these crackdowns was to eliminate spam (mass actions), and drive costs of automation up.

As you’re probably aware, as of now it’s very hard to automate without a 4G proxy (expensive), and the embedded browser setting (that requires more resources: more money), ect.

Truth is, Instagram doesn’t mind automation, it’s just the point where it becomes so cheap and easily accessible. That’s when people flock to using those methods instead of ads.

The point wasn’t that you HAVE to use those specific types of hashtags, but rather that you should make sure there’s a mix of hashtags, that go a step up each time. There’s no point in choosing a 10K hashtag if you’re not going to get any reach from it, you need to then start lower and then climb.

Good question. I think that they’ll work, but I’d advise you to outsource it to someone who knows the correct settings and methods, or buy consulting from them, any other way and you’re jeopardising your account.
