Disavow or leave it?

i got spam backlink on my new sites (5month old actually), when i click the domain (in gsc) it goes to godaddy domain parking page https://prnt.sc/pkyp4x . i googling about this and found its not just me https://www.customdesignpartners.com/spam-backlinks-from-godaddy-parked-domains/ (not my site) ,
today in GSC i see new backlink from thecrestsun,com and its also spam backlink too.

should i disavow the spam backlink or just leave it? the total is around 6 backlink according to GSC.

I know people will probably disagree, but I would just leave it. I'm currently getting absolutely wrecked by about 100 cheap PBNs on a site younger than 2 months, still no negative effects. Google can usually tell when it's neg SEO spam, IMO.

I have never, ever, disavowed any links on any of my sites.

And if I'm going to put my foil hat on, I have a feeling people who use Google Web Master tools/search console get penalized more often.

I would do the same. I will leave it as it is. But if you are really concern about it then disavow is an open option always.

I would do the same. I will leave it as it is. But if you are really concern about it then disavow is an open option always.

Leave it. The link is NOT there, Google was ignoring it anyway, so whats the point of disavow?

Yep, its tinfoil. You mistake correlation and causation. People that use GSC are more likely to be in the SEO, which often means black hat techniques as well. So obviously such people would get penalties more often.

Just leave them, I have 100,s of them, they are annoying but harmless. They only hotlink to images nothing else. Just make sure to disable hotlinking on your server, they'll still create the links but won't use your bandwidth/resources.

It's nothing personal, they scrape the web and grab whatever they can. She's just one of many casualties.
They hotlink to images and some of them create FAKE stores trying to sell something they don't have or intend to delivery. I've seen a couple of them, poorly design and smell fake as you can imagine.The guy who wrote the article:

Indeed, Google Search Console is the equivalent to a Palantir from LOTR. You think it's helping you, but it's a two way device helping Google identify your SEO machinations.

I just wanted to add another confirmation regarding the issue with using disavow. I would not disavow a link unless there is a penalty in place and I absolutely have to remove the link / links. OP do not worry about one "spam" link .

I had many spam bancklinks gov/edu. I decided disavow all of them for 2 months and ı see no differences, really nothing. I believe this tool doent work or no one cares from google side.

Usually I am disavowing everything what not driving the traffic.
It allow to keep clean backlinks profile in Google and kill any suspicious links very quickly.

There is much more spam networks such SPAM GLOBE,
where on ~700 domains are lists of domains with do-follow links, nothing else.

And usually most of traffic sites is on this list.

I'm not endorsing Marie Haynes but personally disavowed a lot of links and it never hurt me. You just need to make sure that they are pure spam. As for the type of links in this post, they are harmless and come from image scraping websites, most of the time they hotlink to the original source, I'm pretty sure that google is ignoring them.

I'm sure it can help, until Google checks in on your site manually because of that exact reason.
