Are dead subs ruining my page?

I have about 600 subscribers. I had about 400 subs when I started a couple months ago from back when I used to use the channel 2 years ago for a totally different type of content. Now I know that when YouTube recommends videos it is based off of ctr and watch time. Do you think my dead subs seeing the video in the sub feed kills the ctr? I was thinking about making a video where I tell dead subs to un subcribe. But if it’s not causeing a problem. I wouldn’t mind keep them cause it’s getting me closer to that 1,000 subs to monetize

im now scared to lose my channel due coppa laws, and at the same time, im scared to change my content because my audience may start not liking it thus killing my channel as well

if your content is being shown to subscribers and subs dont watn to see your content anymore, it damages you because they look at the content for a little bit and leave, thus killing retention rate

this is why changing content type is dangerous

These sites borrow concepts from each other, think about the coder's world and how they influence each other. When it was revealed years ago that facebook fan pages with fake followers alter the engagement in a negative way, that was a sign of the times.

These days, a bunch of data points matter, not just number of views or likes. A lot of measures have been put in place to make sure all actions are authentic, in order to combat click farms and cyber attacks.

So yes, it's not about the number of subs, but how often they come back to your channel is ALSO measured. The watch history of those fake subs matter. They have evolved, so now you must evolve.

There is a lot of free information about how these sites' algorithms work (check youtube). You have to think in terms of creating "natural activity", THEN the number of subs or HR views start to matter. Before youtube starts to share your video with non-subscribers of your channel they want to know that you have a quality video and they use some initial measures to figure out whether or not they will share it. When 20,000 views come in on Monday, but no likes arrive until Thursday (because the smm panels are moving slow) that undoubtedly raises a red flag and the video doesn't get exposed to non-subscribers of your channel.

Leave no footprint! It's time to think outside the box again. Good luck.

Dead subs don't damage your channel, but to change the keyword/content can damage. One of my channels has approximately 10k dead subs, i never thought these subscribers damage my channel. It's all about the method. If your method is solid, your channel will be good.

Now you're not some baby channel with 6 subs, but you're a child channel with 600 subs. Just keep banging out content and doing what you do to grow more, so that one day you become an adult channel with 6000/600000/6000000/600000000/America's National Debt amount of subs.

subs are near useless. theres tons of dead channels with no reach with many subs. they are only useful to get that initial punch of views. and now yt want to kill all youth oriented channels by disabling notifications so i might as well kill myself

It's better if a percentage of your subscriber check the videos you post but i don't think it affect your video. I did a case study and i find out that if u manage to put high quality content with good seo and try to follow trends your channel will be good
