Burrows - Making a Business through Instagram Pt. 2

You may have followed my previous journey in which I decided to automate a lot of accounts with Massplanner without an actual plan and managed to grow it to ~250k ish followers in total.

This time I will be manually grow an Instagram page in a general niche and make a business out of it. I had one account left from my previous journey and I decided to pick it up again and it is already growing organically with about 50 followers per day. My posts went viral a few times and one reached 9k likes while I only have 3700 followers as we speak.

There are a few ideas I have to monetize this account and this will start sooner than I anticipated.
When this account has reached a substantial amount of followers I will grow more accounts to scale this project to the max.

I will also start a shopify store in this niche and try to create a large brand to be able to earn a passive income from these accounts. Furthermore, I would like to collaborate with other accounts to be able to grow faster.

Update week 1:

I might have missed the boat again because ever since the Activity log of Instagram has been deleted my organic growth has dropped drastically.
I am now focusing on hitting the explore page through the use of many hashtags and this has not been working the best. I have grown about 3 followers daily when I stopped posting because I was searching for solutions but today and yesterday I started uploading again and the growth started to come back. I will also be using follow/unfollow tactic to boost the growth and maybe I will try and start an engagement group in my niche to boost each other.

I am not quite sure yet how this will influence the organic growth for the future but I think that when Instagram makes it harder it might be better since the competition will become less if we manage to keep going.

Small update:

I have been going at it with posting and following a lot of people. The result was pretty cool but I reached an action block already. The niche my account is in is pets by the way. I think that this is such a broad niche that it does not matter whether I reveal it or not.

I might need to some more posting but I think that my posts will start reaching the explore page faster once I reach the 5k mark.

One tip ive been doing to get more engagement is to pick 5-10 hastags you use, and comment + like on 9 recent pictures on each hashtag. You will total 45-90 total comments. People will see your comment and check out profile. I found this method somewhere on BHW. If you do this make sure you dont comment all at once. Do like 1 or 2 hashtag an hour because you may get action blocked

This week has been great for the journey, I have made the first shoutout sale and earned $20 for it. Only had to leave it for half a day and got it by reaching out to stores which might be a method for other people. Furthermore I have been growing a bit as well and I hope that this will exponentially grow.

I might update daily from now one since I this will keep me motivated and this might boost the growth of both accounts. I decided to pick up my old account again which is in the travel niche and I will see if I can grow this one to a decent size aswell. I have always thought that this niche is a good one to both sell and dropship from.

So the accounts have been growing steadily and I have found someone that is just getting into dropshipping so we are testing and I am making some profit already. He pays me to try and get traffic to his stores. Works pretty well tbh already getting 200 people to his store with just 4k followers.

Make sure to expose your accounts to people who are actually interested in the topic at hand. Followers without engagement mean absolutely nothing. Also make sure to have a good mix of different hashtag sizes. You can find some websites that generate lists of hashtags, or you can buy a list from someone here on BHW or Instagram. That's what I would do.

Make sure to expose your accounts to people who are actually interested in the topic at hand. Followers without engagement mean absolutely nothing. Also make sure to have a good mix of different hashtag sizes. You can find some websites that generate lists of hashtags, or you can buy a list from someone here on BHW or Instagram. That's what I would do.

I have been trying to engage with posts in my hashtags but have not found a significant increase in my followers. Thanks for the advice

Have been posting a lot but I am afraid I am too active so have taken down a bit on the follow and unfollow actions. Also I have made an excell sheet to keep updating as I did in the last journey.
