Hello,

I was going through the Performance tab of my GSC. I noticed there were several URLs there from the same article. Those were changed by the hash values. They were created by the table of content.

Ex:
This is my article: www.mypage.com/my-article-is-this/
And I found several urls from the same page like below:
1. www.mypage.com/my-article-is-this/#Introduction_To_My_Article
2. www.mypage.com/my-article-is-this/#Best_reviews_of_my_article

Please let me know is this safe for my site? Or will it cause to duplicate content? I guess these were created from the table of content plugin as these sub urls pointed to my h2 tags which are using by the table of content. If this is harmful to my site, how can I remove them from google index?

Not going to impact your rankings. Dont worry about it.

It's coming from your site, so there's no duplicate content issues here.

Dupe content generally refers to when Google has an index of content (mostly strings of words used in the same consecutive order) and you or someone else posts the same content.

are you using table of content plus? that might be url from TOC
