Blue tick service Instagram? Is it a scam?

Hi!

I got contacted by some people through Instagram DM (I have 100k followers and I am a big model) saying they could help me getting verified (the blue tick) on Instagram for 5000 dollars.

Is this a scam or are there people that can really do this? What are some red flags?

Id be cautious of someone sending a DM offering this service... perhaps ask for references from people they have verified before and speak to them directly, ultimately there are services that do provide this kind of thing, if you search the marketplace here you will find a person who does just this but has a record of being able to get it done. Best of luck!

edit * also getting verified has a lot more to do than just having followers.... you need to be someone, have articles written about you and have some sort of notoriety or else everyone would just be verified

The guy does it for almost same price. You will safe on BHW to someone sending a DM on IG.

BHW is a much better place than someone that you dont know. I never used his service but this guy seems legit as he has done a lot of previous verifications.
PS. I am not advertising his service. I dont even know who the guy is. Just tryin to help you out to avoid scam. Check marketplace as might be other sellers offering this service and chose the right one.

Me. It's a no brainer. Although I've learned how to get it traditionally now, and it's a ton of work so sometimes its worth just paying $5k and avoiding the large amount of work.
