have you seen the new video yet where they talk about COPPA rules? google "the future of COPPA rule workshop" or something like that and see the video

they mention crazy shit like blocking youtube for everyone that isn't logged in, raising the bar from audience under 13 to audience under 18 to basically kill your channel with no comments and notification enabled and no personalized ads

these COPPA nutcases are going to make it impossible to make any money out of any topic that is fun. the fat pig representing COPPA on the video is the typical schizo mother obsessed with security. fuck those clowns

Yeah I watched the full workshop yesterday, it's a longggg watch but worth paying attention to if you are into building a business via YouTube.

Best way to make money in the kids niche still is going to be via brand deals with toy companies. Adsense revenue is going to keep going down without personalized ads.

of course pewdiepie which attracts a massive kid audience and the rest of youtubers of this type will get no penalties

and if you know the ceo of youtube you can pimp your daugther and keep making stacks, this bloke put it best in comment section from a video about ftc by erral eves:

Shawn mcknight has a channel called cute little hair styles in which a girl under 13 is featured in almost every other video and yet hes told by the CEO of YouTube that his channel is safe. How do you make money? I've only had luck with Adsense and now im going to be with no income. I really feel like ending it. Every other venture i've tried just gets no traffic at all, no one gives a fuck.
