Hello guys

Good morning to everyone.

After the 29 September, my website got a boost in traffic but since from Saturday 5th October I started to see drop in traffic changes.

The weird thing is Google search console(GSC) is showing different data compared to Google analytics(GA) .

GSC shows my traffic is normal while GA Shows there is a 40% drop.

Now, I have also noticed based on Google Analytics my home page is getting huge search and last 2 years contents are also getting boost while the keywords that were generating traffic is missing in GA.

Today I have noticed few keywords got huge boost while few traffic boost keyword got declined.

Don't know what is happening? Did anyone else noticed the same thing? Can we suggest it's due to September update issue?

This is not new that GA presents only sample info that is usually deficient....
I suggest you to use professional visitor tracking software (If this information is important to you then it is preferable paid software).
GA more suitable for private blogs or low-budget startup sites...

just wait there always a yo-yo effect when google updates.

I no a lot will lose money while google does it yo-yo on websites nothing no one can do.

usually, x2 weeks to settle if effected from a google update.

I think it time to really study Reddit and quora for traffic out beats google once mastered and you're not putting all eggs in one basket.

I am pretty sure google SEO is now so dam hard in competition people just use social media websites for good traffic, google SEO such a headache.

search engine wars get so depressing...

Hi Ashley about which paid software you are talking about?

Hi guys,

Thanks for the helpful tips, fortunately I got to know the reason for the drop in traffic after I have received an email from Google search console that my website pages are blocked by robotx.txt file. I didn't know the reason as I was using my website after the login while for the anonymous users it was having some issue.

The issue was caused by a module that I have installed 5 days ago. I got to know after seeing the error report in our blog section.

Now finally everything is fixed and working. I have re-submitted the site map and link to the link inspection tool.

Thanks to everyone for the comments and helps..

G dance, nothing else. Wait for the dust to settle;)

Not much on my side. Same traffic flow continues
