For a long time now it's been hard to get web 2.0's to index. Paid indexing services didn't work very consistently and waiting didn't work either. They only thing that worked pretty consistently is backlinks to the web 2.0's.

My practice would be to create web 2.0's and then send some backlinks to index them in a week or two. This was in tier 2 and tier one web 2.0's. The tier 2 didn't always have the best content but it was unique. While the tier one web 2.0's would have long original content. I have recently noticed many of the web 2.0's are no longer indexed. These were previously indexed pages.

I know there is no penalty because I tested a few to get then reindexed using a redirect. They indexed but for how long?

I am wondering if others are seeing this and what value Google puts on web 2.0 backlinks today? Google doesn't want to index then or keep them indexed and surely does rank them in the SERP. My guess is there is little trust in these platforms in the eyes of Google.

Not really they’re working just fine I prefer buying them hence I may have a different view

Tier 2 I buy, while the tier 1 Web 2.0's I prefer to build myself. I don't like spammy or sun content touching my money sites.

You can try @BassTrackerBoats service not sure how he’s kept prices so low, but it’s a gem service and I’m not based my review just because he’s a mod I have read many buyer reviews some who’re known to simply state the truth as it is, so check it and if he will give you some seo advice too consider it a bonus.

you buy or do bad links. webs 2.0 are only do-follow link juice containers nothing more. u boost it with shit links, u get shit web 2.0s. web 2.0s without links are as weak as profile links. no matter if you spend 5 days on each of the articles for web2.0 - it will be as weak or strong as its backlinks

i still have few of them as link juice containers but just that. to bring link juice you need spam

I wouldn't say dead.

However, it is clear they don't carry the same weight as they did years ago.
And indexing is taking forever sometimes.

They are not dead. We can still make web 2.0 links but not by general link building methods. just have to create them manually.

About indexing, it might has something to do with google indexing issue this lately.

You used web2.0 mainly for diversity. And that's just that. And no they're not dead yet.
