Got it. Assigned. You won't be dissappointed
I wanted to repost this, because it fell to the bottom of the last page. It's important to read before buying.
OK, let's talk some Strategy and Best Practices.
Strategy
What is the Best Way to Build My Links for Fastest Results?
I get this question a lot, but not as much as I would like. I have way too many people who order from me without discussing strategy, then come to me a month or two down the road and say.. I didn't see much results from my last order. Well durr....your strategy wasn't defined or was completely misguided. These links work if you use them correctly, but if you go in all willy nilly, you're going to be disappointed more times than not.
Here are some general guidelines:
- If you order one link, the chances that you are going to see results are slim. There are exceptions (very low to no comp, small niche, etc), but generally, one link isn't going to get you any results. I sell the one off packages for people to test and see the quality...figuring 8 out of 10 times, they will then order bigger packs.
- DR packs are awesome. I started offering DR filtered packages, because DR tends to be the best indicator of website authority. While RD links are still very effective when used properly, DR links are more consistent. Very rarely do you see a low quality website with a high DR. On the contrary, you can have a website with high RD, that has low authority. Basically RD is much easier to game than DR from what I've found. Especially websites with a DR of 30+ (40+ even lower chance). While we are constantly pruning our inventory and getting rid of low quality websites, this is something you should be aware of - and not just with my service...in general.
- How should you be building these links for best results? It depends...does the website need authority? If yes, then you should be building the highest authority links to the the top level pages. Does the website already have authority and should you concentrate on your product pages or "money pages". It depends. There's a million intangibles to consider here and I could write an entire blog post on the topic alone. Point here is, if you are unsure, contact me!
- What should my anchor strategy be? See below
Fact is, these links work..period. The only reason they don't is because you're strategy is misguided or not refined (assuming other factors are not FUBAR..ie - your website). This is why I have no problem helping my link buyers. After all, your success is my success. I'm online literally 50-60 hours per week. If need help, whether your buying 1 link or 100, I'm here!
Best Practices
I've been at this game for over 11 years now. I was around during the Wild Wild west days, when all it took was some basic onpage and massive amounts of links with exact anchor text. It was very formulaic. Do this, this, and this and rank. Everyone and their mother was doing SEO. Why not, it was easy money. Penguin changed this this and weeded out many. After 2012, the game changed tremendously. It became less formulaic and predictable. Yet, fundamentally, not a whole lot has changed. Good on-page, and quality backlinks. In a nut shell, that's it. Now, I know it's a lot more complicated than that..my point being, keeping to best practices usually yields best results.
On-Page SEO
That being said, I see way too many clients who come in and have jacked up websites, architecture isn't structured properly, page load times, sloppy code..etc.. In short, if you can't follow best practices when it comes to properly building out your website and on-page optimization, you are hurting yourself more than helping yourself. Spend the time and make sure your on-page is as perfect as it possibly can be.
Anchor Text
This is probably the most prevalent topic with my client. Anchor text ratios are very important, but there seems to be a change in how Google is treating anchor text profiles. For a long time post Penguin, the thought process was, we need to diversify our anchor ratios. I've seen all kinds of theories from so called "gurus" and their flocks. Sometimes the SEO industry is full of misguided theories, which become gospel. While there are some generally accepted best practices, from what I've found, it can vary widely from niche to niche. Some industrie's top sites have a heavy emphasis on brand and generic, some have emphasis on more heavy exact anchors. Point here is, you have to analyze your niche. What do the anchor ratios look like in the top 3 spots? Are they different for individual keywords? Mostly the same? If you aren't analyzing your competition, you're missing a huge piece of the puzzle. Anchor text is one of the most important aspects of links building and a huge part of competition analysis.
Do I have a general idea of what is working lately? Yup, here's a hint. Exact match anchors are back...talking circa Penguin. Does that mean you should go in guns a blazing with my anchor text? That's up to you, but you I can guarantee, it's not going to last. There is going to come a time when Google runs a huge update and there are going to be a lot of people losing their asses. Again, use your best judgement here. This is an observation, but not a rule. There are many exceptions. For example, if you are trying to increase your website's overall authority, hitting your top level pages with brand and generic anchors is still what I would recommend. If you want to hit your "money pages" or "product pages" with heavier exact anchors, go for it. That's what seems to be working recently, but beware, at any time, that can go south. You have to understand SEO is very fluid and ever changing. I could go on, but you get the idea.
Again, feel free to contact me before you buy, in fact, I would prefer it. I'm always here to help!
