On sedo auction I've seen something crazy! There are a bunch of domains that I don't pay $10 for them priced $50k.

Why someone have to spend $50k for a domain name like racinggames dot com or detergents dot com (LOL) without ANY benefit?

These domains sells? Are there around some stupid / uneducated buyers that pay $50k for a domain name?

A domain name WITHOUT content, maybe blacklisted, maybe spammed, parked for 20 years and maybe in G sandbox forever?

I am shocked.

Both of those are actually pretty decent domain names - there are way more shitty names priced as "premium" simply because they have a word that registrars algorithm perceive as "valuable". Anyway the business model is you have 5k domain names like this, and with just 4-5 sales per year you have incredible ROI. Just check the prices at hugedomains.com - there are some ridiculously bad deals

Not really. Earlier this year Tesla had job offer for "SEO manager" (Tesla like the Elon Musk company). The requirements? "open link explorer proficiency". Who the fuck is using Moz professionally still? Yet multi billion dollars company hired someone by SEO standards circa 2005...

I guess you are new to domaining. Exact match domains are very valuable and worth their weight in gold.

50k for single word commercial name like Detergents is nothing, much more expensive domains sell every week, it's a market with more than 2 decades.
The trust alone that such domain grants is worth the money, if I was a detergent manufacturer (and they don't just sell to households) I would rather do business with Detergents .com than CheapDetergentsOnline .xyz

They are targeting high rollers looking for brandable domains. Of course, I doubt a large majority of them will sell anytime soon, if at all.

Some companies have huge budget for marketing and buying an "industry defining domain name" for SEO and traffics or even upgrade to existing name for $50k is not a waste as far as branding, marketing and traffics are concerned. You are looking at it from small time online business perspective.
