Shop is done but the traffic?

Hey there I finally completed my shopify store. It looks very decent and from the day one some random girl from Canada tried to purchase my product without any kind of marketing. I was very pleased lol. Question is what is the best way to drive traffic? I have my IG page which I am slowly building but that will not be the main traffic source because I am getting like 10 visits on a page per day if I follow 400 ppl a day. Should I be more concerned about SEO? (shop is on shopify) Or fb/ig ads shoutouts?

Depend on your niche, For some organic traffic works and easy to get, for some its way to costly. Same goes for SEO. Try SEO and FB & IG shouts together.

This right there is being brave (or have to much money and time to waste).

Jokes aside.. You look like you have experience with IG, so I would use the knowledge and focus on that traffic source first - growing your account, shoutouts and IG ads. This, of course, depends if your niche is suitable for IG.

FB ads are still the easiest option for ecom but never rely on one traffic source only. Once you figure things out, duplicate what is working and expand to Pinterest and Twitter.

You need to find someone talented on social media and discuss his activity to promote your store for his audience.
This is not a fast process, but if you find such specialists, you can build reliable system and get profit continuously.

I only spent 12 usd for domain + ssl . I have a decent developer mode looking store. Yes I am growing my ig page and I have already 70-80 sessions in 3 days. But I guess this business model is different. With my previous accounts I only did some bot actions. With this store I feel like I have to invest in those fb ads and ig ads which I have 0 experience with. Anyway I will look into that. I am wondering if it is better in terms of cost to go with official ig add or use shoutouts.

Also if its better to go with the brand named IG page with its logo or to go with general fitness pages (My products are in fitness niche) with only link to store (so I will be growing those pages and not growing acc with branded name and logo).

Start with shoutouts if you have zero experience with FB/IG ads. You will learn how the traffic reacts to your store and improve things.

Growing a brand IG account will be way better long term, at the same time grow a few niche related accounts and promote your products.

Build your Seo slowly and steadily. Do a study to understand the life cycle of your product, if your product can last longer in the market it is more better. Drive traffic to good ppc, study the competition and price it correctly.

With PPC you have to be prepared to burn through money with a store.

On average a store gets about a 3% conversion rate. That means, simply measured as an ROI about 97% of your money is wasted.

So unless you learn from it, learn to re-target you really will waste it.

The key to long term success with most stores is building large email lists that you use to re-target prospects for almost $0.

But emails works slightly differently, you first build the list, then make the sale.

So you have to run a campaign that entices people to join your email list.

Why? Because most people don't want to buy now, they want to buy at some point in the future.Hence an average 3% conversion rate.

If you don't build an email list you have to pay again for them to visit.

If you focus on building a list it does not matter if you do not make a sale immediately, you can keep re-targeting them with emails until you do at almost $0 cost and when they are ready they are more likely to buy from you because you have kept in touch. That means longer term you get better value for $ advertising spend. Plus once acquired an email list can never be taken off you.

Hi mate ppc is something you have to do always to get sales, it’s the inorganic way. But Seo is the organic way to bring traffic to your site. You will not see immediate results in Seo but a long term benefit. For initial start - you need ppc for good traction.
