Here's the thing, while I do believe you for the most part since you say you know this out of experience, but
why is there no way for us to see if a certain youtube channel is being monetized or not? Socialblade only shows us
what they could be making (potentially) and assumes if they are monetized, but it doesn't actually tell you if that channel is
eligible for monetization even though the site may say they can earn 50K a month.

I really want to find out a source or a way to know which channels are being monetized and not because that would take out
a HUGE challenge when you do research. If you're checking out channels to see who is doing it right and who is successful,
but you have no idea which channels are actually eligible for monetization, then it's just the blind leading the blind.

You say you've recently seen many new channels get monetized? Can you tell me how? There is no way for you to actually know this. If you see ads on their channel or videos, that doesn't mean they are being monetized by the channel. It could mean the copyright owners are advertising on the video and making the money.

This is what I mean by the blind leading the blind. There is no way to know who is doing it right and follow them unless they actually tell you straight out in their videos they are making money and have been doing it for years successfully. Then you can model your strategy or plan after them. But for every other channel that is 100k, or million subs, and think they are making money, is dangerous...because you don't know if they are monetized.
