How to monetize an expired domain?

Hey BHW, long story short, I have built a decently powerful site on top of an expired domain and I'm not sure what's the right move forward on. That's why I'd like to receive your advice.

My website has a Domain Authority of 27 and an Ahrefs Domain Rating of 17 with 139 RDs and 1400 backlinks. The spam is slim to none. I'd like to make an exchange of guest posts to further raise my authority and later to sell sponsored posts to businesses (such as casinos).

Should I pursue this model? And if so, where can I get a list of sponsors interested in buying guest posts?

That's quite a smart strategy I must say. I found plenty of such sites while doing competitor research for some clients. Do you happen to have a contact list of sponsors that you could share?

Not much at the moment as the site is still under construction. It's not ready for the wide public as of now but, it should be in a week or two.

Yeah you could do guest posts on site but you’ll have to manually bet each guest post for spam, copied content, also make sure they have used royalty free images. I feel it can get to tedious, rather I would suggest write your own blogs, grow traffic and do affiliate sales you’ll lots of money from affiliate marketing

Thanks for the advice. Guest posts represent the natural option for me as I'm very familiar with being the one that buys them. But I do consider affiliate marketing too, maybe I'll open multiple sites.
