205 Unique Visitors Just Today?How?

Hello,

Right now I am kind of excited and also a bit suprised/amazed.I mean,I am having a kind of mixed feelings right now.I don't know what is happening to my blog,right now.You see,I have a new blog at CashMantle.com, and this blog is less than one month.

Just some minutes ago,I got an email from Cloudflare telling to take a look at my blog.Then,I decided to open the email.Finally,lo and behold,according to Cloudflare information concerning my blog,my blog got 725 requests and 205 unique visitors just today.

My confusion is that this is a new blog that I am still working on putting up some content on it.That's,it has no content though it is indexed on Google.So if I may ask where did those visitors come from?.How did they find my blog?.A bit chunk of the traffic is from Russia,while I am here in Nigeria.

Can someone explain this?.Like I said earlier,right now I'm excited/amazed and confused.

I definitely don't have experience with this. So I want to be upfront about that.

Have you checked if there is any back links directing to your domain name? Maybe you have a domain that was used in the past and was already getting traffic.

Check your stats.

Pay close attention to the referring url section.

Someone might have posted one of your site's urls on a forum or FB group

I get nice spikes when people do that

It might be because someone shared your blog link somewhere. Now your blog is not indexed and only because of this it is hard to assume even this.

My cloudfare stats for my Nigerian domain doesn't show much ng traffic either I get a lot from all over. My site is indexed and about 4 months old.ToKnow your real stats look in your Google analytics.
