So I stumbled upon this blog typewolf.com and I decided to check the page speed on Google page checker, well to my greatest surprise, this theme has 90% mobile page speed without amp which is exactly the kind of theme I have been looking for.

BTW, I found a cool theme called "mediumish" on wowthemes with nice speed, but the problem is that wowtheme has no customer service channel, they don't reply to buyers queries which got me thinking that buying mediumish theme would be a bad ideal as I might not be able to get technical support for the theme

Bottom line is, I really need a fast loading WordPress theme like the one I explained above. Not necessarily upto 90% page speed but over 70% page speed atleast.... Thanks in advance

A lot of things contribute to page speed like your caching, hosting environment, theme, number of plugins, Images e.t.c
I once took a website with 0% F Pagespeed to 75%. On Wordpress I hit > 90% easily on WordPress. THis is to say that you shouldn't really be bothered about the theme. Any decent theme with proper optimization will load fast.
You can also look into genesis framework.

As for the caching is there a way to go around it? Like a plugin to the caching work?

@Sidex

First you should understand why your current theme is slow.
Because you can get very good results with many themes with correct setup.

How many total http request about css,js,fonts have your current theme ?
Do you using any WP cache plugin ?

In compare,
mentioned by you theme is fast because:

- 1 css file
- 3 font files
- no JS files, except GA

Cheers, Greg.

I hit 100% pagespeed insight yesterday with trawell theme

The caching plugins I currently use that give me great results is Autoptimize, and Cache Enabler. I use them together.

Also make sure to optimize your images. I use Imagify.

But there is so many more factors that have been mentioned already, that sometimes that is not enough.
